A non-profit organization established in 2022 under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1972. Our primary focus is Otter conservation in Maharashtra, Goa, and Karnataka.
Our Mission
Arcane Conservancy is dedicated to Conservation of Otters through active participation of stakeholders by enhancing capacity building and by promoting Human – Otter Coexistence. Through scientific research, community engagement, and advocacy, we strive to ensure a future where otters thrive in their natural environment, contributing to the overall health of freshwater ecosystems and fostering a harmonious relationship between humans and wildlife
